Happy 1st Birthday!!!

Annikah's first birthday party was this past Saturday (6 days before her actual birthday). She enjoyed the presents and the cake! But she stayed pretty clean even with all of the frosting. :-)

Her next visit with the surgeon will be 6 months post-surgery for a follow-up CAT scan to check how the bones have healed. We anticipate no further treatment.

Annikah continues to delight us with her happy personality, silly games, and her giggle. She is walking fairly confidently now and has no fear. We praise God for her life and the testimony of God's grace that she continues to be!

when I saw this picture, I smiled because i could see your faces in your kids'. and then I thought what a grace you have a wonderful family even though you all are coming through this special time. I know, because you are all together, so you can deal this in wonderful and good way.
and I realized God knew that.

Joel and Pam -
glad to hear Annikah is doing well. It sounds like God has very much answered all the prayers concerning her surgery and recovery. You're family picture is really nice. All your kids look very much like you both. You oldest daughter, with her missing front teeth, is especially cute. It reminds me of our oldest son, Nelson, who's missing all of his front teeth. God bless you all on your move to El Paso. I'm sorry we never were able to get together for supper. Unless you have sometime in the next 6 weeks. Otherwise God bless you all on your the next leg of your ministry journey.

Miracles happen when you believe in God's power and love. SUCH a cool kid who has been blessed being born to two wonderful parents. Congrats and welcome to Texas. Thank goodness you speak Spanish!
