Last minute info...
Several have asked about the hospital where Annikah’s surgery will take place. We will be at Children’s Mercy Hospital (downtown) in Kansas City, Missouri.

Annikah’s surgery will start around 8:30AM on Monday, October 2nd and the procedure will last around four hours. She will then be in post-operative recovery for a couple of hours before being moved to the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit). She will stay in the PICU until Tuesday, sometime and will then be moved into a regular room. If all goes well, the surgeon hopes to release her from the hospital to recover at home by Thursday afternoon – possibly Friday.

It's so great to hear about others in the same situation I am, trusting God through these circumstances. Thanks for the comment, and PLEASE know Steve and Lauren Faiai in San Diego, CA are praying for sweet Annikah today...and for you. Little Annikah, you have been in our prayers all morning. Praying especially the doctors will know the presence of the Lord is there during this operation and be aware of His guidance with each step. We have also been remembering your mom and dad and your brother and sister.
i hope everything went well this morning.. you all are definately in my thoughts and prayers... along with my family's. If you need anything just let me know... cant wait to hear an update on the surgery....
